Montagnaga, Laghestel and Quartz Quarries
What to see in Trentino? The attractions suggested by Trentino in Moto for the holiday in the mountain.
The Sanctuary of the Madonna at Montagnaga is a must-see for those who want to combine motorcycle tourism and spirituality. If you leave the small municipality, you can reach the Prato della Comparsa (Grassland of the Appearance) and the Monument to the Redeemer and the Holy Staircase, from where you can admire the entire valley.
From Montagnaga, you can reach Baselga di Piné, the main town of the Altopiano di Piné. You can have a break in the area called Ferrari and walk along the Laghestel Biotope, an ancient lake which has almost completely become a peat bog in which, however, there is still a residual lake of a fair size, surrounded by an extensive reed bed.
A short distance along the same road, the crossroad that leads to Miola takes you past the Ice Rink Piné and from here a tarmac road surrounded by woods twists and turns towards Faida. In Faida, at one km from the municipality, you can see the quartz quarries.
