What to see in Trentino? The attractions suggested by Trentino in Moto for the holiday in the mountain.
Ever since the late 19th century the people of Garniga Terme have been taking what is known as "hay baths", a natural remedy which draws its curative properties from the various types of grasses in the hay cut on the fields of Viote, on Monte Bondone. It works as a cure-all for disorders deriving from forms of rheumatism and osteoarthritis and to relieve the pain of spasmic muscles and stiffness of the joints.
Studies conducted by the Centre of Alpine Ecology in Viote and constant medical-scientific research confirm its long term effectiveness. Garniga Terme is situated at a height of 800 metres in the middle of conifer forests on the eastern slopes of Monte Bondone. There is a marvellous panorama with meadows, paths and walks along one of the access routes to Monte Bondone, where grassland is surrounded by a series of woody and stony summits (highest Cornetto - 2,170m above sea level).
All of this makes Garniga Terme a resort where the rhythm of life is in tune with nature. The tourist staying in one of the hotels or apartments has the possibility to choose between numerous excursions. Of particular historical and natural interest is the very first establishment for treatment with "hay baths" and the S.Osvaldo Sanctuary.
