With an area of ​​more than 1 square kilometer and a maximum depth of 38 meters, Lake Levico looks like a Norwegian fjord; together with the nearby Lake Caldonazzo, it is among the warmest lakes in southern Europe. The biotope Canneto di Levico is a main attraction, a protected bay rich in vegetation along the southern shores of the lake. Lake Levico is one of the ideal places for fishing, thanks to the many fish species that inhabit the waters. Therefore, it is possible to rent electric boats and canoes. Lake Levico reacquired in 2015 the prestigious international acknowledgement “European Blue Flag of the FEE” (Foundation for Environmental Education) for the quality of its bathing water and beaches and for the policies of eco-friendly management by the municipality of Levico Terme.
