Helmet on and off you go! From Trento head north towards Alto Adige through the famous “wine route”, a breath-taking idyllic landscape dotted with beautiful vineyards. Crossing the river Adige there is Ora where the tour will begin its climb to Nova Ponente (a detour to admire the majestic Shrine of Pietralba is a must) and to the well-known holiday resort of Obereggen where the road turns back towards Val di Fiemme in Trentino. The 1,808 metre high Passo di Lavazé is worth a stop to admire its beautiful landscape with the backdrop of the mountain ranges of Catinaccio and Latemar. The Stramentizzo artificial lake is the gateway to Val di Cembra leading back to Trento through gentle bends and a splendid panorama of terrace vineyards. For a refreshing stop Val di Cembra and the Piné Plateau offer six lakes surrounded by luxuriant nature where you can have a swim.
